Friendship Park at Roberts Field

The Friends of the Roberts Field was founded in 2013 to encourage greater appreciation and public use of the Chelmsford, Massachusetts park and playground located at 260 Old Westford Road.   The volunteer organization is comprised of neighbors and residents committed to enhancing and protecting Roberts Field & Friendship Park playground for the enjoyment of everyone.

What Friends of the Roberts Field does:
1. Promote responsible use and care of Roberts Field & Friendship Park playground
2. Connect Park & Friendship Park playground users, stakeholders and supporters
3. Organize volunteer efforts to improve and support the Park & Playground
4. Fundraise to support improvements to the Park & Playground
5. Maintain and improve the natural areas of the Park

As an advocate for the Park, some of our volunteer led activities include:
– Natural area and wildlife habitat maintenance and improvements
– Establishment of Pollinator Park and Skate Shack Pollinator Garden
– Spring & Fall Friendship Park playground clean-ups
– Scout projects:  nature trail boardwalks, wildlife nesting boxes, skate shack, and more
– Fundraising for Park improvements
